Žiga Stanič (1973) was born in Ljubljana. After graduating computer science high school, he studied piano, composition and conducting at Ljubljana Music Academy, where he also finished his Ph.D. in music theory. He was awarded several times for his work in the field of music in general. Since 2002, Žiga Stanič is a music producer of RTV Slovenija Symphony Orchestra. His opus consists of more than 150 compositions for various musical groups. He directed the first stage performance of antiopera himself.
